Visited Lina Stores in London for the first time a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday after work.
Welcomed by the friendliest staff and shown to our table in the basement (dress lightly - basement is quite warm!).
Staff were quite patient with myself and two other friends who hadn't come together for a while, so after a few times of asking them for *two more minutes (please)*, we ordered:
- Aubergine Polpette - crunchy on the outside and cheesy aubergine on the inside
- Burrata - classic fluffiness
- Linguine al Granchio - heavenly crab and black pepper combination
- Tagliolini al Tartufo - they are not shy on the truffle (photo 1)
- Ravioli con Stracciatella - transports you to an italian veranda (photo 2)
+ a bottle of crispy cold white wine.
The cravings for a sweet Italian finish led us to a trio of divine sins:
- Pistachio gelato
- Mousse al Cioccolato - could have three more of this chocolate dream
- Cannolo Siciliano con Ricotta - size matters and they make sure it's enough to share (photo 3)
All this food added up to £33 (per person for 3 people)
The End
