Emilia's Crafted Pasta, Aldgate, London

Working in the City can be overwhelming but one can't help but feel grateful for the privilege of being a member of one of the most powerful, vibrant economic ecosystems.

Whether you are working in the City, living in the City or just visiting it, plan ahead and book a table in the busy Emilia's Crafted Pasta restaurant at Aldgate.

I would definitely recommend booking ahead as it is a highly sought after place. The staff were super friendly, the food arrived quickly, the only negative point would be that it is a small place so it can get quite loud in there! We were a group of two and we ordered the following:

  • Mixed marinated olives - teaser/starter to prepare your appetite
  • Burrata with toasted sourdough bread - you know the dreamy cheese dripping and melting when you cut through its heart
  • Homemade pistachio and basil pesto with tomatoes - refreshing but also filling summer dish
  • Pancetta carbonara - heavy dish for those who need more to fill their tummies
+ 1 bottle of white wine

It normally takes a lot of food to satisfy us but we were both full with a bill of £35 per person!

The End
